Customer Billing Specialist

Warrior Technologies, a locally owned energy company, is currently hiring for a full-time Customer Billing Specialist in Midland, Texas. This position will be responsible for both routine and non-routine, moderately complex customer billing functions, and
following appropriate procedures for timely and accurate preparation.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive, review, and organize daily tickets
  • Prepare invoices with varying levels of requirements (pricing, matching)
  • Submit invoices to customers with attention to detail of customer invoicing requirements
  • Work with the operations group to handle customer questions and provide documents as needed
  • Issue, maintain, and correspond with customers about credit memos and/or activity on their accounts
  • Manage customer document uploaded in various system(s)
  • Answering of phones occasionally
  • Supporting month-end process activities


  • O to 3 years experience in customer billing (energy sector preferred, but not required)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents from several sources
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence for multiple locations
  • Ability to communicate verbally, non-verbally, professionally, and effectively with internal and external personnel
  • Ability to work without oversight, prioritize work, and stay focused
  • Ability to problem-solve with minimal assistance
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Quickbooks accounting software
  • Knowledge of billing software systems preferred but not required: Open Ticket, Open Invoice, Enverus, Coupa, TRanscepta, Chevron GEP, iHaul
