Major Component Technician (Traveling)

Warrior Technologies, LLC is seeking to hire energetic team players for our newly developed wind turbine major component teams. Warrior offers exceptional pay, per diem, and benefits with the best  industry matching 401k.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Focus on Safety, Quality, and Efficiency
  • Able to take instruction and follow lifting plans
  • Conduct and or participate in daily safety briefing’s
  • Recognize potential safety and quality hazards
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical components
  • Perform proper isolation of electrical components (LOTO)
  • Demonstrate to proper usage of PPE and compliance to procedures
  • Operate under properly performed LOTO conditions
  • Support lifting or crane work on equipment at heights over 300ft
  • Travel to remote locations throughout the U.S. on little notice
  • Document all work and show proficiency in Microsoft applications.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Wind Turbine experience is preferred with direct reference to major component exchanges
  • HS Diploma or GED is required
  • Away from home for up to 6 weeks
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to Work possible rotating shifts
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Physically fit for climbing and lifting operations
  • In accordance with industry safety compliance wind technicians must weigh no more than 280 pounds, including clothing and boots.
  • Proficient in English
  • Ability to work in all different climates and conditions
