Position Summary
Warrior Technologies is seeking dependable Environmental Field Laborers to support environmental cleanup, remediation, and field operations throughout West Texas and New Mexico.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding position involving shoveling, digging, material handling, site cleanup, and assisting equipment operators and other members of the environmental crew.
Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, using hand tools, and performing physical labor throughout the workday.
Position Specific Expectations
- Perform manual labor in support of environmental cleanup, remediation, excavation, and site restoration projects.
- Shovel, dig, fill, grade, and move soil and other materials as directed.
- Hand-dig around areas that cannot safely or effectively be reached with heavy equipment.
- Assist skid steer and other equipment operators by spotting equipment and preparing work areas.
- Remove debris, waste materials, and impacted material from work areas as directed.
- Load, unload, move, and organize tools, equipment, supplies, and materials.
- Use shovels, rakes, hand tools, and small power equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with setup and cleanup of job sites, work areas, containment areas, and environmental controls.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from unnecessary hazards.
- Wear required PPE and follow Warrior Technologies and customer safety procedures at all times.
- Participate in required safety meetings and immediately report unsafe conditions or incidents.
- Maintain tools and equipment in clean and safe working condition.
- Work closely with pushers, equipment operators, and other crew members to complete jobs safely and efficiently.
- Complete additional duties as assigned to support environmental operations.
Qualifications
- Previous environmental, oilfield, construction, landscaping, excavation, or similar field experience preferred.
- Experience performing manual excavation or shovel work preferred.
- Ability to safely operate common hand tools.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a field crew.
- Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, dust, and other changing field conditions.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical work including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and shoveling.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required.
- Must follow all PPE, safety, and drug and alcohol requirements.
Work Schedule
Field schedules may include overtime, extended hours, weekends, travel, and changing schedules based on customer and project needs.
