Area Manager

Position Summary

The Area Manager position is responsible for leading and managing field operations within a specific geographic area, ensuring safety, efficiency, and profitability. They oversee a team of field personnel, manage contracts, and act as a liaison between the field and the office. Key responsibilities include implementing production plans, maintaining equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and fostering strong client relationships.

A valid driver’s license with clean background meeting insurable standards is required and drug testing is required.

General Expectations

  • Consistent attendance – I understand that last minute callouts, no call/no-shows, tardiness, and failure to adequately schedule my PTO results in a hardship for Warrior Technologies and could result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
  • Professional appearance – I understand that I need to maintain good hygiene and grooming and represent Warrior Technologies to the highest standard allowable in my position.
  • Communication – I understand that I must be respectful and professional in my communication with others in the course of my employment including but not limited to verbal, written, and electronic.
  • Paperwork – I understand that I must complete paperwork required of me in a timely manner including but not limited to new hire paperwork, annual benefits paperwork, work orders, and safety paperwork.

  • Zero Tolerance Workplace – I understand that Warrior Technologies is a “Zero Tolerance” workplace, and a positive drug or alcohol screen will result in immediate termination.
  • Safe Driving – I understand that I am expected to always practice safe driving while representing Warrior Technologies.
  • Safety Training – I understand that I am responsible for timely completion of all safety training required of me.
  • PPE – I understand that I am required to always wear all issued personal protective equipment as required by the task and customer.
  • Accident Reporting – I understand that I am responsible for reporting all accidents, incidents, and near-misses immediately to my supervisor. Failure to report an accident or incident could result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Position Specific Expectations

  • Supervise and provide direction to field staff, including technicians and operators, within a defined territory.
  • Establish and measure performance goals, monitor operations, and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure the availability and proper maintenance of equipment and resources necessary for field operations, including inventory management and mobilization/demobilization of equipment.
  • Communication – I understand I am responsible for frequent professional communication with both customers and Warrior team members.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for field personnel, conduct performance reviews, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Prepare reports on field operations, analyze data, and provide insights to management on performance and areas for improvement.
  • Manage budgets allocated to the field operations, track expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of field
personnel.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of oil and gas operations, equipment, and
procedures.
Safety Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the oil
and gas industry.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
to effectively interact with clients, team members, and management.
Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Ability to identify and resolve operational issues,
make sound decisions, and implement solutions.
Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize
effectively, and meet deadlines.
Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Relevant Software and Systems: Ability to utilize computer systems and
software for data analysis, reporting, and communication.
