Position Summary
We are seeking two highly motivated and experienced Field Safety Professionals to support
safe work practices, perform field audits, and ensure compliance with all OSHA, API, and
company safety protocols. This is a boots-on-the-ground role critical to advancing Warrior’s
safety culture and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily field-level hazard assessments and ensure compliance with safety
- procedures and policies
- Lead Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Pre-Job Briefs, and Safety Meetings
- Perform field audits, inspections, and behavioral observations
- Act as the safety liaison between field crews and management
- Investigate incidents and near misses, and assist with root cause analysis and corrective
- actions
- Support onboarding and field training of new hires and contractors
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Enforce proper use of PPE, gas detection equipment (e.g., Honeywell GasAlert Max XT
- II), and adherence to control of work procedures
- Travel to various field locations within Texas and surrounding states as required
- Candidates will utilize Safety Culture App, Geotab, and electronic permitting systems to track observations, audits, and hazard mitigation.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., work in extreme heat/cold, and walk on uneven terrain during inspections.
- You’ll work directly with our Safety Manager and Operations leadership team to mentor new hires and promote field safety culture.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of field safety experience in oil & gas, construction, or industrial services
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and API safety practices
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently in challenging environments
- Proficient in hazard identification and mitigation techniques
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- OSHA 30-Hour (General Industry or Construction) – Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA compliance through field audits, incident prevention, or safety program oversight.
- PEC Safeland/SafeGulf – Experience: Field verification of safety briefings, permit-to-work, and hazard mitigation in upstream/midstream environments.
- H2S Clear (ANSI Z390.1-2017, API RP 55, and 30 CFR 250.490) – Experience: Worked in or supervised H2S-prone areas with use of monitors, SCBAs, and emergency response procedures.
- CBA Certification – Experience: Practical field use during confined space entries, emergency response, or
- tank cleaning operations.
- First Aid/CPR/AED -Experience: Familiarity with jobsite medical response or previous participation as a designated first responder.
- Defensive Driving Certificate (SafeDriver PEC)
- Confined Space Entry & Rescue – Experience: Direct involvement in confined space work including permit issuance, atmospheric monitoring, and rescue drills.
- Excavation (Competent Person) – Experience: Assessed soil conditions, maintained protective systems, and ensured trench safety compliance. (OSHA) Excavation standards, 29 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 1926, Subpart P).
- Scaffold Inspector – Experience: Conducted daily scaffold inspections, documented deficiencies, and authorized safe use under (OSHA 1926.451(f)(3) 1926.450(b) 1926.454) standards.
