Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ability to work as a team member
- Focus on Safety, Quality, and Efficiency
- Able to take instruction and follow lifting plans
- Conduct and or participate in daily safety briefing’s
- Recognize potential safety and quality hazards
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical components
- Perform proper isolation of electrical components (LOTO)
- Demonstrate to proper usage of PPE and compliance to procedures
- Operate under properly performed LOTO conditions
- Support lifting or crane work on equipment at heights over 300ft
- Travel to remote locations throughout the U.S. on little notice
- Document all work and show proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Qualifications and Experience
- Wind Turbine experience is preferred with direct reference to major component exchanges
- HS Diploma or GED is required
- Away from home for up to 6 weeks
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to Work possible rotating shifts
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Physically fit for climbing and lifting operations
- In accordance with industry safety compliance wind technicians must weigh no more than 280 pounds, including clothing and boots.

- Ability to work in all different climates and conditions
