Sandblaster/Coater - Warrior Technologies

Position Overview

Warrior Technologies is seeking experienced Sandblasters/Coaters to join our team. We are looking for skilled professionals who specialize in external and internal coating of pipes, tanks, and vessels. This role requires expertise in surface preparation, sandblasting, and applying protective coatings to ensure the longevity and durability of industrial equipment.

Additionally, we are hiring for a Coating Foreman position to lead a crew and oversee coating projects. If you have leadership experience and a strong background in industrial coatings, we encourage you to apply!

Key Responsibilities

Perform sandblasting and coating applications on pipes, tanks, and vessels.
Prepare surfaces for coating by removing rust, old paint, and contaminants using abrasive blasting techniques.
Apply protective coatings, paints, and linings to external and internal surfaces according to project specifications.
Operate and maintain blasting and coating equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure proper mixing and application of coatings, including epoxies and specialized protective linings.
Conduct quality control checks to meet industry and company standards.
Follow safety procedures and environmental regulations to ensure compliance with company and OSHA standards.
Work collaboratively with team members and take direction from the Coating Foreman to complete projects on time.

Qualifications

Experience in sandblasting and coating industrial equipment, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
Strong understanding of coating systems and application techniques for both external and internal surfaces.
Ability to read and follow technical specifications, safety guidelines, and work orders.
Proficiency in using blasting and coating equipment, including spray guns, pressure pots, and air compressors.
Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and PPE requirements for sandblasting and painting.
Leadership experience is required for the Coating Foreman role.
Certifications in industrial coatings (e.g., NACE, SSPC, or similar) are a plus.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety procedures.
